Listening to the story on the radio heightens your attention to hearing. You imagine, what item is making the sound and what is that sound adding to the story. I enjoyed getting caught up in it and also, thinking about how it was for people in the 50’s doing that in the evenings for entertainment. There is a contrast too, in how we live today and our entertainment, so the simplicity was a unique experience.
We are learning technology that will enable us to create a story for ds106radio and we all live in various places. We are bridging the gap between old and new in a fresh way.
